Cookie Notice (getflowting.com)

Last updated: October 11, 2026
This notice covers our website, getflowting.com. The Flowting app does not use cookies. The app is covered by our Privacy Policy; its section 8 explains app statistics.

In short

  • We use only the cookies the website needs to work and to stay safe from bots. They need no consent.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
  • We count visits with a statistics tool that sets no cookie. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and wherever we cannot tell where you are, it runs only after you tap Allow.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar tools, such as local storage, work the same way. In this notice, "cookies" means all of them.

Website statistics without cookies

We count visits with PostHog in a mode that sets no cookie and keeps a random number only in the open browser tab, never on your disk. It tells us, for example, how many people visited a page and which link brought them, so we can see which posts and ads work. It does not follow you to other websites.
When it runs.
  • In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Gibraltar and the Crown Dependencies, and whenever we cannot tell where you are: only after you tap Allow on our question "Help us improve Flowting?". "No thanks" is just as easy. EU law treats even a number kept in the open tab as information stored on your device, so we ask first.
  • Elsewhere: it runs unless you say no, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
  • You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share app usage stats. Your answer is kept in your browser (persist:flowting).
We measure ads with plain links that contain a campaign name. We do not use advertising pixels from Meta, Google, TikTok or others.

The waitlist form

If you join a waitlist on the website, we collect what you type: your email, your city, whether you live there or are visiting, trip dates, and the optional answers. The Privacy Policy explains how we use it. We never ask for photos or who you are interested in on the website.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the Cloudflare cookies, the waitlist form may not work.
  • We honour Global Privacy Control signals: we do not sell or share data for ads, and the signal also keeps website statistics off until you say yes.

If this changes

If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example advertising pixels), we will ask for your consent first, through a clear choice on the website, and update this notice.
