Notifications
Flowting tells you when something needs you, and stays quiet otherwise.
What we send
- Your picks start: once, on the day. By notification and by email.
- New picks: when you have 3 or more new people.
- Matches: when someone you said yes to says yes too.
- Messages: new messages in your chats.
- Trips: when picks for a trip are ready.
If we can’t reach your phone, we email you about picks and matches instead. On the web, Flowting doesn’t send browser notifications: we use email.
Choose what you get
Go to You › Settings › Notifications. Each switch turns that kind off, by notification and by email.
Emails about your account, like sign-in codes, deleting your account or your data, always go out.
News from Flowting is off until you turn it on.
Quiet hours
By default, notifications wait from 10 pm to 8 am your time and arrive in the morning. Change the times under Quiet hours.
Your lock screen
- Discreet mode shows no names and no messages on your lock screen, just “You have something new on Flowting.”
- Message previews show the start of a message. We ask about this at your first match, and you can change it any time.
