Trips
Flowting is for where you live and where you’re going. Add every trip you have coming up, and meet people there.
Add a trip
On the Trips tab, add a trip: the city, your dates and, if you like, where you’ll stay. Cities come from a list. Right now the list is short, and more cities are coming.
- You can add up to 20 upcoming trips.
- A trip can be up to 90 nights and start up to a year ahead.
- A trip needs to be away from where you live.
When trip picks start
Trip picks start when you land, if enough people who fit you are there. They arrive at 6 pm local time each evening of your trip, until the evening before you leave. On those evenings, your trip picks take the place of your home picks.
Each trip shows Enough people for picks ✓ or Not enough people there yet.
What people there see
Never your dates. Your card says how long you’re around, for example Visiting · a weekend or Visiting · about a week.
After a match, the chat can show the day you leave. To turn that off, go to You › Settings › Privacy › Time left in chat.
Who sees visitors
Everyone chooses if they want to meet people who are visiting: Yes, Only if they want something real, or No. Change yours in You › Settings › Privacy › Show me people visiting.
Hide or remove a trip
Open the trip on the Trips tab, then tap Hide this trip or Remove trip. A hidden trip stays in your list, but nobody there sees you on it and you get no picks there.
