How picks work

Flowting doesn’t give you an endless list to swipe. Once enough people who fit you are nearby, you get a few picks at a time: real, selfie-verified people who fit what you want, and who you fit too.

When picks arrive

  • Picks arrive at 6 pm your time.
  • For many people they start twice a week, on Sunday and Wednesday. When more people who fit you join, they come every evening.
  • You get up to 7 people at a time. On a quiet day you may get fewer.
  • Your picks stay until your next picks arrive. Then they’re replaced.
If your picks haven’t started yet, see Why am I waiting.

Yes or Not for me

Open each pick and tap Yes or Not for me. Nobody is told you said no, and a yes is never shown as a yes. If you both say yes, it’s a match and you can chat.
There’s no undo, so take your time.

Why these people

Picks fit both ways: who you’re interested in, ages and distance, for you and for them. Each card shows Why you might click, a couple of things you share.

Will I see someone again?

  • Someone you didn’t answer may come back later.
  • Someone you said Not for me to may come back after about 3 months, or after a big change to their profile.
  • After a match, an unmatch, a block, a report or a hide, you never see each other again.

When picks stop

  • Pause stops your picks until you turn it off. See Pause and delete your account.
  • If 5 or more of your matches are waiting on your reply, new picks wait until you answer. Reply, and they come back.
